Maths
This is some of the maths which I have been doing. Learning about names of 2d shapes and measuring degrees of shapes.
Here are some shapes which I have learnt the name of:
- Pentagon (5 sided shape)
- Hexagon (6 sided shape)
- Heptagon (7 sided shape)
- Octogon (8 sided shape)
- Nanogon (9 sided shape)
- Decagon (10 sided shape)
- Hendecagon (11 sided shape)
- Dodecagon (12 sided shape)
I have also learnt the degrees of shapes:
- Square: 360 degrees
- Rectangle: 360 degrees
- Triangle: 180 degrees
I have also at school learnt about line of symetry, rotation and tessalation. In art, at school, we are drawing shapes and we are looking at the artist Robert Delowny. We are putting in lines of symetry to show warm and cold colours. This artist concentrates on circles.
